i'm so glad that the majority of people here didn't start screaming Child Abuse. you can't judge parents and how they discipline their children until you yourself spend the day with that child. after he explodes a bottle of pop in your minivan and then tells you to f--- off and clean that up the tape starts to look like a pretty good option, even to the most patient and loving parent.
