Is the family being steadily and deliberately eroded away?

I think that being physically capable of spawning offspring does not make you a good parent. A lot of children are better off without both parents in their lives. In my opinion, fewer people should be able to raise their own children than the law currently allows. If it were up to me, people would be "fixed" at birth and required to get a Parenting Diploma before allowed to reproduce.
