Why do guys get grossed out by period talk?

welll when u talk about and boy make dirty joke but when u talk about blood from the they get grossed out,well i love the boyz in my cl they are so curious and we are in 8th grade this boy is always wanting to talk about and girl and all the boyfriend girlfriend stuff its preety hilarious
