Im getting a Roborovski Dwarf Hamster sometime within the next 2 days, help?

I've heard in some places that toilet paper rolls are ok for them, this I know for sure. But I've also heard that some toilet paper left on the roll is ok for them, but in other places that they'll choke. Which is right? What about tissues? I've heard they like to snuggle in them. Any other tidbits would be helpful. I've done research but could always use more help. Thanks!(:
