Why won't game makers cater to integrated graphics?

It seems stupid that my old laptop is crap and my new one is fab- the only difference is the old one has ATI Radeon and the new one has Intel Integrated Chipset GM956. I cant even play FEAR or FEAR2 on my new machine- but can actually get it going on my old one- Why even sell laptops with integrated chipsets and call them advanced if the gaming world does not embrace or reform to them? I am not a huge gamer, but once in a while there is something i want to try out. Its like a conspiracy between NVIDIA and ATI against Intel.
