Sugar cookie recipe that is meant to be rolled can I?

Scoop the dough onto your prepared pan, then take a flat-bottomed gl and rub a little oil on it, then dip it in sugar and use it to press the dough flat--to the thickness it should be rolled to. You can also use dry jello powder to dip and press with, for color and flavor, or colored decorating sugar, or cinnamon sugar, or some sugar with a little cocoa powder mixed in. Rub in a little more oil as you go if the sugar doesn't stick enough to the gl. Bake as the directions call for.
