Can C02 or Iodine go through Sublimation?

A quick but necessary Chemisty question. Can Carbon Dioxide (C02) or Iodine go through Sublimation, or do they have anything to do with it. The teacher hinted that one of them has nothing to do with Sublimation, so it's one or the other. Can anybody give me some insight?
