Why does my friend hang around with the wrong crowd?

Tell him that you love him and would appreciate it if he can go back to his old self which was more ... 'aware' and 'loving' ... tell him this.. look into his eyes and ask him to ditch the friends.. do you want to start a life with him eventually? If yes, then state that as well.. tell him how you feel... don't sound needy but just explain yourself to him.... Baby steps. Good luck!
