What does this mean? what should I do?

this guy @ the beginning of the semester liked me (i think) then when he didn't act the same I started to like him...after a few months of him not flirting with me @ all last week @ a banquet he started to act like he did when he did @ the beginning of the semester. when he talks to me he is always smiling and rarely he would say something sweet like one day i'm going to marry someone like you or why would you do that when you could look @ you beautiful self in the mirror. if he does say something sweet he would do something that would make it look like he was joking with me. he is always looking @ me even if its just a glance while hes talking to someone else or actually staring @ me... i don't know what to do! i would like to go out with him before school lets out. we don't text or talk online. so does he really like me? is it something I shouldn't worry about because its nothing? PLEASE HELP thanks so much
