Need help with madden 2010 badly!!!?

I am always getting destroyed by my friends in madden and I'm playing as the Vikings. They always seem to p on every down and I simply do not know how to stop it. For example I was playing the packers and Aaron Rogers would get a p every down without missing. My friends take advantage of this and p every down. I am not sure how to make it hard to complete a p. I need some tips to shut them down.
