Best/Suitable fish for 10 gal aquarium?

I have a 10 gallon aquarium with 1 balloon molly (about 3/4 of an inch) and 2 painted tetras in it (they each are the size of about a quarter). I did not realize what "painted tetra" actually meant and I don't support the dyeing of fish. I am curious if these fish are appropriate for the tank size. Also, what other fish would be suitable for this tank? Would neon tetras be okay? I am sort of new to this....I bought a test that check the chlorine, nitrate, hardness, and pH levels of the water...and they are all good. Any suggestions?
